The OxMedi NB1 is a portable mesh nebuliser for people who use nebulised medication at home or on the move — adults and children. It is near-silent, runs on batteries or USB, and fits in a pocket. We make one nebuliser, and this is why it is the right one.

We make one nebuliser. Here is why it is the right one.

Compressor nebulisers are loud, mains-bound and slow. Mesh technology vibrates medication through thousands of microscopic holes, producing a fine mist without the noise or the box on the table. The NB1 gives you that in a unit the size of a phone, with a mask for adults and one for children in the box.

Questions and answers

Which medicines can I use in the NB1?

Any medication prescribed for nebulisation by your GP, asthma nurse or consultant — saline, bronchodilators and inhaled steroids are the common ones. Use it exactly as prescribed; the NB1 does not change the dose.

How do I clean it?

Rinse the medication cup and mesh with warm water after every use and leave to air-dry. Full cleaning steps are in the instructions for use.

Key features

Near-silent

Vibrating mesh, not a compressor pump — use it in a bedroom, an office or a car without anyone noticing.

Pocket-sized

Smaller than a phone and lighter than a cup of tea. Takes the pouch, not a bag.

Adult and child masks included

Both masks and a mouthpiece are in the box, so the whole family can use one device.

Battery or USB

Runs on batteries or from any USB socket — no mains lead. No mains lead.

How it compares

A side-by-side comparison of the NB1 Mesh Nebuliser with the Omron MicroAIR U100 and the Beurer IH 55 is on its way.
