The OxMedi OM1 is a fingertip pulse oximeter that measures blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate in about ten seconds. It is for anyone monitoring a lung or heart condition at home, recovering from illness, or checking a family member. We make one oximeter, and this is why it is the right one.
We make one oximeter. Here is why it is the right one.
A pulse oximeter has one job: a reliable SpO₂ and pulse reading you can act on. The OM1 gives a large, bright display you can read at any angle, an audible alarm when readings fall outside the range you set, and the accuracy a medical device has to prove before it can be sold in the UK.

Questions and answers
What is a normal SpO₂ reading?
For most healthy adults, 95–100%. If you have a lung condition your doctor may give you a personal target range. A reading below 92% that does not recover with rest is a reason to seek medical advice.
Does nail varnish or cold hands affect the reading?
Yes. Dark nail varnish, false nails and cold fingers can all give a low or absent reading. Warm the hand and use a bare fingertip.
How do I change the batteries?
Slide the cover on the back and fit two AAA batteries, matching the + and − marks.
