Do I need the app?
No. The BP2 works on its own and shows the reading on the cuff. The app adds a history, graphs and a PDF you can send to your GP.
Is it as accurate as a monitor with a tube?
Yes — it uses the same oscillometric method and the same accuracy standard. The difference is where the pump sits.
